There is no set “thing” as to what Doggymates is. Each arrangement is up to individual members.

Doggymates provides a way for people to socialise their dog.

Doggymates is about getting out and doing things with your dog/s.

The website provides information on dog social events, sports and places where people can take their dogs (Eg. Dog fun days, holidaying with dogs, off-leash parks).

An online friendship service, where you and your dog can meet new friends.

Using postcodes, we list people who wish to find a friend for their dog.

Dog Minders/walkers and people without dogs can register. Go to registration form.

Doggymates owner

My name is Diane and I love dogs. I have two, a mini poodle called Misty and a border collie called Major. I have found a Doggymates friend for my dogs using the Doggymates website. We have sleepovers.

Donations (Lort Smith Animal Hospital)

The donations will be made on a quarterly basis calculated by the number of payments received from Doggymates members. There will be no administration fee on the payment.

Doggymates will provide information to justify the payments.

There is currently an agreement with Lort Smith Animal Hospital (Vic).

If a member has a Victorian postcode, $5.00 is paid to Lort Smith Animal Hospital. If a member comes from another state the money will be paid to an animal charity.

Doggymates is a good way for your dog to have a familiar friend to play with, this stimulates them and contributes to their wellbeing especially if they are the sole dog at home.
